Description:
City Managers are required to audit each of their assigned team’s medical records created for each appointment seen per working day. Auditing medical records for errors and discrepancies reflects The Vet’s mission of providing premium veterinary medical care to all patients seen and our vision of operational excellence.
Procedure:
- Login to VetSpire
- Select the team whose medical records you wish to audit and navigate to “Schedule” located on the left menu bar
- Audit each appointment medical records by notating the following information in an Excel Spreadsheet:
- Market/Team
- DVM Name
- Client Name
- Patient Name
- Date
- AMI completion
- Bill amount
- Recommendations
- Declined Items
- Missed Opportunities
If you discover missed opportunities, share the spreadsheet you have created with the following team members:
