Description:

City Managers are responsible for reporting any and all missed service days. In case of sickness, absence, and other reasons for “holes” in the schedule, immediately report theissue, follow the Relief Process or Save The Day.


Procedure:

Email operations.cancellations@thevets.com and mts@thevets.com immediatelyso that the team can begin searching for relief. When reaching out to OPS -
please include:

  • The name of the employee that has called out.
  • The reason for the call-out.
  • The date and time the City Manager was alerted of the call-out.
  • The method in which the City Manager was notified of the call-out.
  • The number of appointments scheduled for the day.
  • Confirm that appointments are being rescheduled for the day and notate how
    they are being rescheduled.
  • Post the call-out in the appropriate group chats in Slack.
  • Reschedule as many scheduled appointments for the day as possible
