In an effort to continue to empower our veterinary technicians, The Vets requires one technician day is scheduled per week.

Procedure:

  • Technician run days can operate across multiple SA’s..
  • Prepare for longer drive times since the team will be servicing all areas.
  • Tech Appointments available once or twice a week depending on need.
  • Schedule clients with the expectation to be seen in the morning or afternoon not specific “time”.
  • 15-30 min appointment length.
  • Medical Teams decide what is considered a Technician Appointment.
  • Tech MUST provide the owner with expectation of appointment (No DVM).
  • Tech will provide a time frame expectation with the owner (morning or afternoon).
  • Tech Appointments will be sent in Market Slack Channel using the following format
  1. Date of Follow-Up Visit
  2. Time Frame (am/pm).
  3. Client Name.
  4. Pet Name.
  5. Type of Visit.
  6. Visit Length.
  7. Comments.
  8. Screenshot (If relevant).
  9. BAs to approve receipt and confirm new booking.
