Presenter: Dr. Andrea Johnston

Description:

This lecture will focus on how basic feline health screens can enhance detection of common health issues and how simple interventions can promote wellness and longevity in our feline patients. Case examples will be used to illustrate the integration of history, clinical signs, and clinicopathologic testing to identify problems early. We will also focus on discussing minimum health care recommendations with owners and how to collaboratively develop a wellness strategy for each life stage.

Your Instructor

Dr. Andrea Johnston

Dr. Johnston earned her D.V.M. from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Cornell and earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from UT Southwestern in Dallas. Her clinical and research interests are hepatobiliary disease and hepatocellular carcinoma.
