Description:  Pet owners are often unaware just how sick their pets are. This can lead veterinary team members to a situation whereby an unstable or critical patient must be urgently stabilized and transferred to a hospital. During this webinar, strategies will be shared to allow veterinary team members to quickly and effectively identify unstable patients, stabilize them to the best of their ability, and transport them safely to a hospital. Client communication during these emotionally charged situations will also be briefly discussed. All clinical team members are welcome to attend. 

Learning Objectives:

1. Promptly identify unstable or critical patients. 
2. Stabilize and safely transport patients to the nearest hospital. 
3. Effectively communicate with clients when their pet is in critical or unstable condition.
