I graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and am a Level 3 Fear Free Certified Practitioner. I completed a small animal rotating internship trained and love internal medicine, behavior, ophthalmology, geriatric care and turtles! A love for animals in nature and a passion for science brought me to veterinary medicine. I stay in veterinary medicine to help pets (and their owners) live happy healthy lives.
My favorite treat is a milk tea with boba. I share my home with a 19 year old rescue domestic shorthair cat named Moose, an 8 month old rescue Shepard mix named Pilot and a guppy fish named Pups. My yard is a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat, and provides a home to all kinds of wildlife. I also share my home with my four-year-old son and six-year-old daughter!
I lived on a boat doing sea turtle research one summer in vet school! I also coached women’s high school varsity lacrosse through undergrad.
