Employee Referral Program

The Vets strives to hire and retain amazingly talented people — people who exude our passion for delivering outstanding pet care services. We believe that one of the best sources of new talent –  those who are likely to connect with our mission and thrive in our culture – is often a referral from one of our existing team members. 

As such, The Vets implemented a lucrative referral bonus program designed to entice our existing team members to help recruit people they know and respect.  Details of this program are described below. How do I submit a referral?

Who is eligible?

In order to be eligible for a referral bonus your referral must be hired and work continuously for  90 calendar days. In addition you need to be employed at the time the candidate reaches their 90th day.

What are the referral bonus amounts?

Medical Teams:

Full-Time Vet - $5,000

Part-Time Vet - $1,000

Relief Vet - $500

Vet Tech - $500

City Manager - $500

Non-Medical Teams:

Director and above: $1000

Other Non-executive Professional - $500

Booking Agent - $250

CSR - $250

When will I receive my referral incentive?

Your bonus will be paid out in the regular pay period following your referral's 90th day of employment.
