Preventative Challenge Winners

The Vets are passionate about preventative medicine and ensuring every pet is protected year round with flea, tick, and heartworm protection. In partnership with Merck Animal Health, all our Veterinary Technicians, for the last seven weeks, have been proving this passion day in, and day out, as part of our Preventative Medication Contest, which we launched as an extension of Technician Appreciation Week.

Our more than 70 Technicians providing more than 17,000 doses sold to clients, meant providing more pets with parasiticide protection for the pets in our care. This means less pets getting fleas, ticks and heartworm and passing them along to others.

A huge thanks to each and every one of our technicians for helping improve flea, tick and heartworm protection compliance.

And, drum roll please, we are excited to announce that Tara Guthrie from our Dallas team took the top spot and the Grand Prize, valued at $1500: a spa retreat with dinner and an overnight stay for two. In second place was Danielle Steele from our Tampa team, and in third place was Destiny Buie, from our Charlotte team.

Congratulations Tara! And great job to Danielle and Destiny for their fantastic efforts and leading the way with preventatives.
